Location: Clark, Pampanga

Shift: 9:00PM - 6:00AM (Monday-Friday) Night Shift

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare individual, corporation (C or S corporation), partnership and nonprofit returns

    Tax preparation for more complex tax returns, including consolidation, and/or returns with multi-state, and international issues a plus
  • Prepare trusts, estate and gift tax returns (knowledgeable of estate & trusts a plus)
  • Perform year-end accounting clean up, analysis for reasonableness, including retained earnings reconciliation for preparation of the tax return. Strong accounting background preferred
  • Assists with year-end business tax planning and quarterly estimates; Assists with year-end projections for high-net-worth individuals
  • Respond to inquiries from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and other tax authorities
  • Perform research and document well-supported conclusions
  • Proactively manage project deadlines to ensure delivery of work product based on client and management team expectations and statutory deadlines
  • Openly communicate with managers and partners about the status and progress of tasks and projects
  • Continue to develop, maintain, and improve knowledge of local, state, and federal tax rules, regulations, and guidance.

    Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years of strong accounting experience (month-end/year-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting) with an interest in tax work, particularly business retusn – Form 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041)
  • Ability to work through complex or messy books — prepare/review trial balances, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy prior to preparing tax returns.
  • Experience with US clients preferred
  • Multi-software proficiency (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, CCH, CaseWare) to ensure adaptability.

    Soft Skills:
  • Works independently; ability to operate with minimal supervision (mentoring/supervising juniors is a plus).
